The jury awarded $1.15 million in damages. In another case, Ms. Hyatt was on the team that secured a $12.8 million legal malpractice jury verdict, one of the largest of its kind across the country.
Ms. Hyatt was admitted to practice in Colorado in 1998 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit (1998), the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado (1998) and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit (2003).
When she is not in the courtroom, Ms. Hyatt enjoys spending time with her family as well as volunteering through tutoring and volunteering at her daughterÂ’s school library.
