Mr. Williams also made the closing arguments in a jury trial against State Farm Insurance. That case ended with a $14.5 million ruling, which is IndianaÂ’s largest defamation verdict.

For his achievements, Mr. Williams received the Indian Trial Lawyers Association Max Goodwin Young Lawyer Award in 2013.
