As the founder of Gary C. Johnson, PSC, Mr. Johnson has more than four decades of experience aiding clients who have been injured by the negligent or malicious acts of others. His Kentucky law firm has three locations in Pikeville, Hazard and Lexington. Mr. Johnson feels a strong desire to serve Kentucky residents who are suffering from the devastating results of accidents and medical malpractice. He has extensive experience in all areas related to auto accidents, consumer law and wrongful death, and is board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in civil trial advocacy.
Mr. Johnson has had numerous successes obtaining multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients, with the distinction of having won the largest personal injury verdict to date in Kentucky. His impeccable legal ethics and rate of success have earned him numerous awards and accolades. In addition to the highest peer-reviewed rating of AV Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Johnson has received the Kentucky Justice AssociationÂ’s Peter Perlman Outstanding Trial Lawyer of the Year award.
In addition to personal injury, Mr. Johnson holds other lawyers accountable for negligence or misconduct in the areas of legal malpractice and professional negligence law. He regularly speaks on trial strategy at numerous continuing legal education seminars.
