In one of his many achievements, Mr. Piatt was responsible for examining and cross-examining the majority of witnesses brought during a six-week trial. The result of the case was a $14.5 million verdict of behalf of his client. He was also involved in a breach of contract trial in which Mr. Piatt gave the closing argument and secured $230,000 for a collegeÂ’s former head basketball coach.
Mr. Piatt was admitted to practice in Indiana in 2009 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana (2010) and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana (2010).
