Since 2007, Richard M. Grant has been a valued member of the team at the Brayton Purcell LLP law firm. As a senior associate with the firm, Mr. Grant primarily practices appellate law. He also has extensive experience in the courtroom litigating personal injury cases. In addition to personal injury law, Mr. Grant has particular experience in the areas of asbestos litigation law, mass torts law, product liability law, toxic torts law and general torts law. Mr. Grant’s experience in mesothelioma law has allowed him to obtain numerous settlements and verdicts for clients who suffered from serious illnesses related to long-term exposure to asbestos.
Mr. Grant has been practicing law in California since 1973, and has been licensed to practice law in Michigan since 1970. At Brayton Purcell LLP, he accepts clients in the Bay Area and throughout Northern California. His law firm also handles cases in all 50 states. Mr. Grant is committed to handling each case with compassion and sensitivity. He also takes pride in his ability to perform pro bono work wherever possible. He has volunteered with Hospice by the Bay and has also worked as a substitute teacher and volunteer speaker. Having a strong desire to mentor young people and to make a difference in the lives of others, Mr. Grant has served as a high school mock trial coach and as a coach for Little League baseball.
